Hi!!

Eivor here today with a step-by-step tutorial. Today I will show you how to create a little basket. I have used the new released stamp "Bunny & Carrot", so I made an Easter basket. All the new stamps can you find HERE
A small little basket, perfect for little candy for Easter. I think the stamp is super cute! It is 4" wide and 5" high.
I think the best thing with this basket is that you create it with just one paper and no cutting!
This new Chibi stamp Bunny & Carrot is so cute!!

So lets start with what you need...
Here is what I used... one (1) piece of 6x6 paper and one (1) piece 2"x7" of paper, flowers, sentiments from the stampset and a border punch. And of course the image! I have colored her with copics and fuzzy cut her.
Now it is time to score. Sorry to say, it isn't easy to show the scorelines but I tried to do a little guideline on a paper beside. I hope you understand.
First I scored at 2" and 4", turned the paper and on that side I scored at 1½" and 3½ inch.
The next step is to do a little little mark at 3" (on the side with the scorlines on 1½" and 3½"). I drawn a blue "arrow" so you maybe can se my little dot. Then you score from the little dot out to the scored line and stop there. As the dashed line on the white paper I made with the lines. You do two lines, turn the paper and do the same on the opposite side, so you got four scored lines.
Now I fold at all the scored lines and start to create the basket. On the side with the dot at 3", you fold so the sides go towards each other and behind the 3" that in a way will be like the top / an arrow (if I can call it that) .
Here above you how it taking shape...
Now the basket is done. And I used a stapler instead of glue to get the sides to stick. Hope the last three images were ok, so you understand how to get the shape for the basket.

Now lets create the handle.
For the handle I used an old edge punch from Martha Stewart. I like the pattern on this. Just use your favorite.
When the edges are ready, I just glued the handle on the inside of the basket and then I started to decorate my little Easter basket.
I used the colored image, the sentiment and some beautiful flowers and tadaaa...my basket is ready for the candy!
Here is the front.
Here is the back, with more flowers and some leaves.

I hope you liked my turorial and I looking forward to see your baskets.
